Motel Rocks The Party

On the 12th November Motel hosted their annual #motelrockstheparty, this year it was held at the Far Rockaway in Shoreditch. This was such a cool venue decked out with old school foosball tables, neon signs and a ceiling made out of skateboards it was deffo 'instagramable' for all the bloggers who attended.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the amaaaazing A/W collection by the lovely lot over at Goldie London!

Firstly, I can safely say there is definitely something for everyone in this selection, from gorgeous jumpsuits to tailored coats, whatever your autumn winter style there will be something to take your fancy.

Global Gathering

This weekend I made the epic journey all the way down to Stratford Upon Avon (I say epic because the furthest I venture out of London is to Southampton and that's about it) so it was nice to go and see a different part of the UK.. even if it was just through a train window haha!

After 2 tubes, 2 trains, a shuttle bus and a walk (drag) of our little suitcases we finally found our way to the VIP camping area to set up tent. Loz took full charge with the tent assembly as she 'used to be a well good scout'- yeah kay loz whilst I took like a duck to water as my role of 'Team Motivator' aka skiver. To be fair to her she did do pretty well getting it all up and ready in the space of 5 mins! Leaving only one other thing to do… dump the cases inside (not sure if this counted as glamping? that aside everything else we did that weekend was less that glamorous i can assure you of that!!) and time to crack open the CIIIDEEERRRSSS!!

Drawn in by the beautiful two-pieces being regrammed by bloggers worldwide we just had to check out their website where we were not disspointed by their wide range of on trend pieces! Boasting new styles that drop every day, the selection is massive and it was so hard to pick just a few of our fav items to tell you all about!

Big on colour, prints, co-ords and kaftans we fell in love with so many of their products. ALL of them are so perfect for the summer made with light weight material and super easy to style up (or if you're ever stuck for styling tips they have enough gorgeous fashion bloggers on hand that style up the pieces like a dream! just check out their insta for inspo).

New Obsession: Nutri Bullet

Okay so I don’t know about any of you but I have finally decided that it’s time to up the health kick in preparation for my summer holidays. Recently I have seen alot of hype around this amazing blender- The NutriBullet!! I am already completely obsessed with health juices at the moment and often find myself heading to Vital Ingredient for a ‘Lean Green’ or Joe and the Juice for a ‘Go away Doc’ most mornings so it suddenly occurred to me.. why not make them myself!?

London Birthday Antics

To be completely honest with you, since turning 21 I just hate birthdays. Not because of the whole age thing and growing old, just because of the effort (and most of the time stress) that comes with organising something that everyone will want to do.

Since leaving uni and packing up my bags for laaandan, all of my friends are scattered around the UK making it SO much harder to do anything together let alone pray everyone is all free on the same weekend.

I eventually stopped putting it off (about a week before) and decided to make a weekend of celebrations so everyone could come along!

I headed down to report from the Isle of Wight festival sporting Motels brand new Von Dress in Pastel Daisy Print accessorized with my H&M hand jewellery, Regal Rose body chain and La Moda platforms teamed with fishnet socks. Qudsia opted for the the mixed stripe Kimmy Skirt and Dana Crop Top combo and her amaaaazing fedora from ASOS!

So last month I won a competition run by the lovely Jenn, founder behind Cordelia Hearts – check them out on instagram if you haven’t already!

She has the cutest designs perfect teamed up with a pair of black wax jeans and some killer platform heels for some girly drinks (which inevitably lead to one of those crazy, spontaneous MESSY nights out!!)

It’s official, festival season has begun and what better one to start with than WEAREFSTVL. Equipped with my FujiFilm Instax camera, geared out in Motel Rocks clothing and with my wellies at the ready (Thank GOD) I headed down for a weekend of House music, feet shuffling and style spotting!

Saturdays rain could’t even stop us ravers as we blagged backstage access and hung out with MK, Route 94 and Anabel Englund. Old school pinball machines, deck chairs, and lots of alcohol = the perfect party atmosphere as we hung out in the artist tents before all heading onto the stage to watch/RAVE RAVE RAVE to MKs set! Safe to say everyone was loving life!
