On the 12th November Motel hosted their annual #motelrockstheparty, this year it was held at the Far Rockaway in Shoreditch. This was such a cool venue decked out with old school foosball tables, neon signs and a ceiling made out of skateboards it was deffo 'instagramable' for all the bloggers who attended.
They had loads of
activities going on from metallic Divine ink tattoos to Elegant Touch providing a choice of designs to get applied from the House of Holland range, christmas inspired nails and the latest collection from Lily Allen- Lily Loves. Freixenet and Little Miracles provided refreshments
for the eve, with plenty of refills to help get everyone down and duuuurty
on the dance floor to the awesome sets from DJs Zara Martin, CiciCavanagh and Jamz Supernova.
There was a photobooth that instantly printed any image
with the #motelrockstheparty. Alongside this there was…wait for it… every
gals dream.. EMOJI STICKAAAAZ!!!! sassy got taken up straight away (shock.) and
every glitter alphabet was stolen to customise the print-outs for each gal.
There was also Hair braiding, cider pong, tarot
card reading, a sweet shop and that all important #selfiestation equipped with
a box of props as what gal doesn't love a good prop (and xmas ones at that!)
As a brand that loves
to party, Motel know a thing or two about creating party wear that will
definitely make an impact! They not only showcased the best of this rage (See some snaps from their
brand new campaign here). They also gave us a sneak peak at their GAWJUS 70s
inspired SS15 collection & showcased the launch of their Bloggers PartyWear Edit with the incredible Sarah Ashcroft, Zoe LDN, Tasha Green, Yanin,
Kayla Hadlington and Leanne Lim-Walker.
It wouldn't be fair to wrap
up this post without addressing those AWESOME goody bags! Motel always throw
the best parties and their goody bags never disappoint and this year it was all
bigger and better. Filled to the brim with products, the famous branded tote
bags were full of surprises when we went through them post-party. There was some
amazing products from Tigi Bed Head, N-Spa cleanser, Rebel Kitchen Chocolate Mylk (SUPER
YUM.) Nanobytes, which are a bit like millions and took us right back to our
childhood. Batiste dry shampoo- a staple in any gals beauty regime, St Moritztan because who likes to be pale in the winter? errr not us. Benefit high beam,
LOVE benefit! A crown make-up brush, Elegant Touch xmas nails, Vapelux e-shisha
sticks (a personal fave- not a fan of smoking and never will be but these
little sticks are nicotine free and taste like a little DREAM!) House ofHolland nails, Urban Fruit - 'just fruit gently baked' annnnnd last but not least we may have a
little confession to make… There was deffo some Metcalfes Skinny Topcorn that
got scoffed before you could even say BYE.
